At first, the social bookmarking websites and services appeared user friendly for people who wanted to store information on your favorite sites and web pages, not in browser bookmarks. This is very convenient and sometimes you may need to use another computer and browser that does not have information on their favorite sites.

Therefore, simply access your account on a website bookmarks and browse the list of favorites. Also, this is a great opportunity to demonstrate their preference for other Internet users and meet like-minded people.
Call Centre operates in a very simple way. Each marker is a relevant message in a new link. As you know, again the links posted on high PR sites are valued by search engines like Google. Consequently, it has more links, the higher grades you can get from Google.

The good news is that most web sites have high PR bookmarking and accept dofollow links. What is a dofollow link? This is an attribute of a link. If the owner of the website gives a link as nofollow, meaning he or she does not assume any responsibility in this link where users can take. Consequently, nofollow are completely ignored by search engines.
Of course, in order that this method effective SEO you must ensure that their websites contain interesting and useful information, otherwise your site will be designated as not useful, and there is no point in publishing on social bookmarking site.

Many people have lost their jobs today and are trying to create a site and establish an online business. But to succeed they need to promote their sites for specific keywords. This process is quite expensive but one way that is affordable social bookmarking submission. There is so expensive to order, on the one hand, on the contrary may even do it using script social bookmarking.

One of ipage’s most attractive features is its domain privacy, which is among the top reasons why website owners choose ipage to host their websites. The web hosting provider’s domain privacy option is perfect security measure these days since spamming is a very serious online problem; as much as possible you would want to hide your personal information from the public.

Most intruding spammers work by taking advantage of the easily attainable WHOIS record and in no time, you will find irritating junk mail and phone calls sent your way! ipage offers “WHOIS protection” which works by listing its contact details, instead of yours, in the WHOIS record. When this protection option is enabled, all emails will be sent to you through ipage’s contact and the senders will never see your real email address. This way, you are spared the hassle of receiving tonnes of spam that not only clogs your inbox but also wastes your precious time going through and deleting them.

Since the domain privacy appears to be a very advantageous feature, you might wonder if it is expensive to subscribe. Luckily, cost is nothing to worry about as ipage’s domain privacy is relatively affordable. Upon signing up, you’ll have your web hosting account setup almost immediately, a free domain name and amazing benefits for only $4.50 a year or even cheaper with ipage cheaper deals..

ipage also gives you free marketing bonuses which would help you market your recently-established website and make it more visible in the industry. They provide the following marketing credits for free:

$75 Credit for Google AdWords

$50 Credit for Facebook Advertising

$25 Credit for Yahoo!/Bing Sponsored Search

Free Yellowpages.com Listing

60-Day Membership for RatePoint’s Newsletter Manager

It’s a widely-known fact that domain names’ WHOIS records are spammers’ favorite source of contact information (email, telephone, address and etc), hence ipage strongly recommends that all registered domain names be protected by their domain privacy (also known as private domain name). Opt for this feature if you don’t wish any of your personal info such as phone number, email or mailing addresses to be revealed to spammers or worse, those who have the intention to commit fraud and steal identities.

On top of the domain privacy and the wide range of benefits, you will also stand to enjoy the freebies and excellent web hosting features provided by the web hosting provider. Check out ipage web hosting now!

There are two main types of advertising on the Internet, these are Cost-per-click (CPC) and Cost-per-mile (CPM). CPC advertising is where adverts are placed on a page and website publishers are paid according to how many times the adverts are clicked on.
There are no guarantees with this kind of advert because there is a possibility that a site could get 1000 impressions and maybe only 2 or 3 clicks.
CPM advertising is where publishers are paid depending on how many people visit their site (number of impressions) and are paid regardless of whether someone clicks on the advert, however publishers are not paid anything additional if the adverts are clicked on.
Determining which of these two are best for your site can be tricky sometimes as different types of websites are better suited to different types of adverts. Unfortunately, because websites do not normally disclose whether they are using CPC or CPM adverts, the only way to determine the best ones for your site is to try them both out and see which one works best.
There are some services, such as BlueAdvertise, that only serve CPM ads on a page, whilst there are others such as Google AdSense, that put both CPC and CPM advertisements on pages. The best solution for most new sites, in my opinion, is to use Google AdSense because they put the highest paying type of adverts on your site automatically, giving you the best chance of gaining profit from your site.
Also, if using AdSense, be sure to analyse your statistics carefully, because sites with around 1000 hits or higher a day, depending on the site’s niche, may be better using a CPM-only provider. The best way to determine this is to analyse the eCPM rate for your site’s using Google’s tools as this will give you the most accurate picture of how much traffic your website is actually receiving.
This is in addition to analysing the click-through rate for your sites, as it could be the case that the average amount of clicks received by a site could exceed the amount of revenue that could be generated from solely using CPM advertisements.
In general, CPM advertising is more expensive than CPC, meaning that only people or companies with larger advertising budgets would tend to use it. CPC, on the other hand, is widely used by a lot of people due to the fact that, in effect, they are only paying for each potential customer rather than for everyone that sees the advert.

Digg has been around for quite a while and it has been a great way for people to find new information from all over the web in all sorts of subjects. This site has proved itself to be a fantastic place that anyone can use to send targeted traffic to their own blogs and websites through the submission of great content that other users should find interesting. If you know how to produce such kind of content on a regular basis then Digg is for you. This article will explore a few things that you can do to help you figure out your own place within the site and how you can use that place to drive relevant traffic back to your own blog or website.
1) The importance of a great title for your submitted content should not be underestimated. The users that are surfing the site are usually looking for something interesting to read, learn or know about. On Digg, it is the quality of the submitted content that earns Diggs, nothing else. If you aren’t able to get people’s attention with a good title, why would they keep reading the rest of the content? So focus on creating catchy titles that make the users curious about what you’re offering them.
2) Be very careful about the content that you decide to submit to Digg. Not everything is going to make it to the front page of the site so don’t submit just any sort of content and think it will get there. It is very important that you only submit high quality content so that other users will find it interesting. When you send content in to Digg people are going to notice your history and explore it for other things that you have submitted in the past. If the content you send in gets buried over and over again, that is not good. You need to make sure that the content you submit is good before you send it in or all of your efforts will have been no good.
3) Last but not the least; speak the language of the Digg users and see how they communicate. You have to keep an eye out to see how the other Digg users are being active on the site, which will give you an insight on what works and what doesn’t. This can also help you understand what people on Digg tend to like and not like. For instance, you’ll see that a lot of users on the site are interested in technology, mainly Apple.
All users have favorites in all areas of the site which you will understand once you begin to analyze the habits that other users have and the way that they express themselves. In summary, the tips in this article should help you understand just what you need to do if you want to drive traffic to your site or blog from Digg. There is no such thing as magic that will get you onto the front page of Digg; you need to make a targeted effort on a continual basis and take regular and consistent action.

You want SEO services but who can you trust to provide quality services?
How do you avoid getting ripped off?
We have seen it all with SEO and the truth is scary. There are big SEO companies all over like a plague and many are fly by night operations with little or no real world SEO experience. There is also an abundance of inexperienced individual scammers out there that have no real world SEO experience or knowledge in SEO but they have fooled many people and businesses that don’t know any better.
We have had businesses come to us, after being ripped off by so called SEO experts, seeking help.
One example is a new client that hired us and contacted us on a 3 way phone call so we could listen to what the BIG SEO company was offering to do. The SEO firm promised to make my client #1 on organic Google searches and stated they have special and secret relationship with Google. Ok this sounds amazing but the fact of the matter is THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE and this SEO firm tried to rip another company off.
To make things more interesting I called the SEO firm on my own and spoke to the same salesman I spoke to earlier via a 3 way phone call and picked his brain to see where the conversation would go. This so called Web Master told me each SEO expert they employ is responsible for managing the SEO for over 100 client websites because they are so awesome!
I also asked them about Google AdWords which is something I also have extensive knowledge and experience with. I wanted to know how much do they charge to manage a small & simple Google AdWords accountant and they told me they charge per click instead of a flat rate to just manage the online marketing campaign. Not that I would ever consider outsourcing anything to them or anybody else, I was curious. I know and believe in the old saying if you want something done right do it yourself but that’s not so easy in these types of situations for people with no background or understanding of how SEO and the internet work.
Ok that’s just another way they choose to bill for a specific service and there is nothing wrong with that but when I asked how much do they charge for every click and they said $50. I researched the specific key words involved and Google wasn’t charging more than $5, yes five bucks, for the specific keywords we talked about.
Talk about serious price gouging! And what is really sad, is many businesses fall for these types of scams because they don’t know any better or don’t know who to turn to for quality and sound advice.
Not only did this SEO firm promise things that are impossible to guarantee, they demonstrated they are not capable of delivering the one on one attention to detail that is necessary to deliver quality SEO services, and their prices for shoddy work is way over priced. Now I am not saying good SEO comes cheap, because good SEO is very time consuming and requireds a lot of hard work, dedication, knowledge and, most importantly, real world SEO experience.
So how do you find a good SEO consultant anyways?
That’s a tough question to answer because good SEO consultants are usually very busy catering to their clients and know firsthand that good SEO requires paying serious attention to detail, and managing the SEO for 100 websites is a bad idea for just one SEO consultant.
PICK UP THE PHONE and call him or her.
The first thing you should be asking for is to meet the SEO consultant in person – face to face for a consultation. If they are not willing to meet you in person then STOP and keep looking.
What if the SEO consultant is not near you, IE another state?
Now things are different and meeting them in person is not so reasonable, but that’s ok.
You can have a phone consultation and ask important questions.
Not every SEO consultant will meet you in person for free, and there may be good reason for this. They are very talented individuals and their time is very valuable and most don’t want to deal with tire kickers – you know, the potential clients that ask endless questions seeking free advice, then never spend a dime.
After you get that out of the way, ask to see some websites that the SEO consultant is responsible for. Ask to see natural – organic searches that bring up the websites. If the SEO guru can show you this and demonstrate their talent then you are on the right track to SEO success.
Other questions to ask are how much do they charge? And what will they do for X amount of dollars? If the SEO consultant tells you they have special connections with Google or they own thousands of websites that can drive traffic to your website then WALK AWAY NOW!
Other things to verify which you can do yourself are.
Is the SEO consultant a real business?
How long have they been in business?
Do they have any professional references?
Do they have their phone number on their own website? Or do they only communicate via email?
MOST IMPORTANTLY, are they located within the United States?
NEVER EVER under any circumstances hire a SEO consultant that does not reside in the United States for obvious reasons. Lack of communication skills, lack of legal – laws to protect you as a consumer, lack of quality support. Nothing is worse than being transferred to India when you need help fast.
At the lease try to use common sense when in doubt and understand good SEO isn’t cheap.
The old catch phrase I live by is cheap is not good and good is not cheap.
This doesn’t mean just because the SEO consultant isn’t cheap that he or she is good.
Now before you sign any contract or agree to a deal, find and pay a good business lawyer to review the contract to make sure you completely understand what the contract states and ask the business lawyer to clarify anything you may not understand. Spending a few hundred dollars to have a business lawyer review and edit the contract if necessary may save you thousands of dollars and prevent you from signing a bad contract.
In conclusion you now know what to look for, what to ask and how to weed out the SEO scammers that are out there.
GOOD LUCK with your quest for high quality SEO services!

Digg has been around for quite a while and it has been a great way for people to find new information from all over the web in all sorts of subjects. The site has also proven to be a goldmine for anyone that’s planning to drive targeted traffic to their site or blog, by submitting high quality content that the other users will be interested in. If you’re good at creating good content regularly, Digg can be a very valuable resource. In the following article we shall be discussing three key strategies that will help you carve your place on the site and actually use it to drive relevant visitors back to your own website or blog.
Understanding how Digg works is the best way to get traffic from it. If you don’t understand social voting or how it works on Digg, you won’t send a lot of traffic from it to your site. If you’re new to Digg, spend some time exploring and simply submitting interesting things you find on the web. This will give you time to get a feel for what sort of content gets the most attention and how you can make it work for your own website. After you’ve become familiar with the Digg system you will feel much more comfortable about submitting your own stuff to the system and getting it on to the front page.
Remember, Digg is after all a social community, which means you’ll have to impress the users if you want them to Digg your content.
Make sure that you are submitting the original source of your content to Digg. There are certain rules that you need to follow and remember if you want to use Digg correctly and this is an important one. For example: when you write a blog post for Digg submission, make sure that you submit the URL of the actual post and not just the link for your blog‘s front page. This is one of the key points that you should keep in mind when submitting any type of content to Digg.
Pay attention to the way people communicate on Digg; learn to “speak the language.” You need to pay attention to how the other users on Digg communicate with each other so that you can learn what is acceptable to the community and what is not. This will also help you understand what the Digg users generally like and dislike. For instance, you will quickly see that Digg users are very interested in technology, especially the news released from Apple.
All Digg users have favorite areas to browse in but you’ll figure this out pretty quickly when you start to analyze the habits displayed by the other users as well as how they express themselves. All in all, this article clearly shows you that Digg isn’t going anywhere and it will keep helping its users get the targeted exposure they crave as long as their quality is worthy. So the true essence of making it big with Digg is to focus on your content and make it so worth it, that nobody is able to ignore its value. Work long and hard to build a good approach to Digg so that the users will find what you offer up to be of value.

There are several search engine optimization techniques through which the quality and volume of traffic to your website can be improved, especially key word or key phrase targeting. A keyword or a key phrase is that particular word or phrase a person may be searching for. Keywords play an important role in making a site relevant. The greater the density of the key words, the more the chances of the site being recognized and indexed. Also, key word rich content is likely to attract more visitors. The choice of keyword is important and the keywords should revolve around the main idea of the website. The wrong choice of keywords can render your search engine optimization (SEO) efforts useless. Your home page should be designed to highlight the theme of your site, with other pages closely relating to it.
The content of your website is also important and should be updated regularly. Fresh content is always in demand on search engines; and those sites which regularly update their relevant content get priority on the search engines. Besides this, fresh and relevant content retain visitors, especially those who frequently visit your website, and keep them interested. Stale content means loss of visitors and thus low traffic. Besides fresh, interesting content, another SEO strategy is link building. You must search for relevant sites and try to get as many related sites as possible to link back to your site. You can also include a blog in your website to improve its ranking and popularity.
Article writing and submission is an effective SEO technique. You can write articles revolving around your keywords and submit them to directories, especially the popular ones. This helps you in getting back links to your site. Another way of creating back links is by making comments in forums and on relevant blogs.
Search Engine Optimization can be classified as organic and ordinary; both have the same goal, that is, to promote the website by increasing its rankings and generating more traffic. Organic SEO is more organized.
If your website is not getting visitors or if you want to create a website to advertise your product, then you must use the services of a SEO team. The purpose of this team is to chalk out an effective marketing strategy for you and to create a website which targets visitors. However, before employing these teams, you have to make sure that they are white hat teams which employ ethical strategies. Some companies provide low cost services but use unethical methods which might result in your website being penalized by the search engines.
Search Engine Projects is an online marketing firm with team of website developers and in-house search engine optimization experts who help small to mid size companies in the U.S. You can find more about Search Engine Projects and what they can do at:

Social bookmarking is the act of saving useful website links (“bookmarks”) to a public directory and tagging them with relevant and appropriate words or phrases for easy retrieval. Every Web browser has a feature that allows you to save links that you visit often in a folder called “Bookmarks”. The downside of using browser-based bookmarks is that they are only accessible to you when working on that machine. Social bookmarking extends this access to wherever you are by storing your favorite links on a public resource. If you are not yet sure about the advantage of doing this, here are 7 reasons that might change your mind about social bookmarks.
1. Ease of access to content: Even when you are accessing the Internet from a device other than your primary computer, you will be able to find your favorite bookmarks using a social bookmarking service. This also safeguards your resources in the event of a computer crash or virus attack that wipes out your local bookmarks folder.
2. Back-links: On the World Wide Web, a link back to your content is a vote on its popularity as a useful, valuable or entertaining resource. The act of social bookmarking can provide your content with many such one-way back-links (from the bookmarking site to your website). This will boost your content’s perceived value.
3. Traffic: The goal of most webmasters is to get more people to their website to consume their content. Social bookmarking can get your website extra visibility. It will feature your content on categorized lists that will appeal to the right kind of people who are specifically looking for such information.
4. Potential for viral spread: Social bookmarks are visible to everyone using the site (unless you mark it as ‘Private’). So there is a high chance of good content being shared across the network. As bookmarking services rank bookmarks by popularity (the number of people who list a specific resource), this can snowball rapidly and bring your content a huge audience without costing you a penny!
5. Faster search engine indexing: The popular social bookmarking services like Digg, Delicious and Reddit are a favorite of search engines because they are a treasure trove of frequently updated information categorized by topic, and ranked by popularity. So search engines will frequently ‘crawl’ links on these sites. By bookmarking your brand new website, you may get major search engines to “discover” your site very quickly – often within a few hours.
6. Higher ranking: Search engine optimization (SEO) is the set of actions performed to get a website ranked high on search services like Google, Yahoo and Bing for a particular phrase or keyword. Bookmarking helps in this by providing your content with multiple back links from resources that the search engines trust.
7. Personal branding: Social bookmarking services also let you create a Web presence where your favorite bookmarks are listed. This can help in developing and spreading your personal brand as you grow a collection of bookmarks that are relevant to your brand.
With thousands of social bookmarking services around, you are spoiled for choice. Make sure you select wisely. Rely upon sites that are authoritative and also related to your niche. This way you will enjoy all the 7 benefits of social bookmarking without wasting too much time and effort. While you will soon learn the most effective ways to use these services, here are a few tips to get started:
1. Bookmark only useful content: If your bookmarks are of value to the general public, you will soon develop a following within the social bookmarking site. People will explore your links and even add them to their own bookmarks, giving your bookmarks higher popularity within the network.
2. Comment on other bookmarks: If you find a useful bookmark that someone else has added on the network, leave a comment that shows your appreciation. Since social bookmarking is a way to grow online communities, you’ll soon find yourself enjoying an unexpected benefit – a network of friends on your favorite bookmarking sites!
3. Do not spam: Posting links to every page of your website, or each of your blog posts, or a lot of useless resources, is a sure way to lose your authority and respect on these social networks.
4. Categorize your bookmarks: Social bookmarking involves archiving valuable links and also organizing them by using descriptive tags or labels. Submit your bookmarks under the relevant category and include as many tags as needed to help others find the link easily while searching.
When it comes to bookmarking, the important thing is to get started. There is a lot to learn. But you can learn it through practice as you use the social bookmarking sites to share your favorite online resources. With so many advantages to using social bookmarking, you shouldn’t waste another day. Get started right away!

There was a time when search engine optimization was actually not necessary.
Even as late as a decade ago, if you created a Web page anywhere, Google indexed it and you gained visibility in its search results. Your page could have been in one of the free “estates” where anybody could add a page and Google didn’t mind. It could also have been a pure affiliate page with no original content and Google still indexed it.
Things are unrecognizably different now.
Affiliate pages with “cookie-cutter” content duplicated everywhere might never make it to the Google index; the same fate is likely for those pages you throw in on a free-for-all website. And even “proper” websites with your own domain name failed to achieve visibility among the proliferating sites in millions.
These would not have mattered, except for one thing. It was Google that provided the bread and butter for the millions of small businesses that could not afford expensive marketing campaigns. If your site was among the top few sites the appeared before a searcher’s eyes when that person searched for your product, you got hundreds and even thousands of visitors, many of whom even bought your products.
Search engine optimization (SEO) entered the scene. Search engine specialists “reverse-engineered” to identify the factors that Google consider for showing websites at the top of its search results pages. These factors were then consciously incorporated into your Web pages in the hope that Google will show your site among the first ten results it showed on the first page.
As more and more of your competitors adopted search engine optimization practices, things became difficult again. Your position began to slip if your competitors did the SEO better. SEO battles became serious fights with every dirty trick being employed.
There were “black hat” SEO practitioners who showed one page to search engines and another to human visitors. As search engines were not bothered with readability, you could fill the “search engine” page with pure gibberish, but gibberish written in a way that the engine dutifully indexed high.
A war of wits followed between unscrupulous SEO practitioners and search engines. Google changed its ranking algorithms regularly to work around practices that allowed low value content to appear at the top of its search results. After all, Google’s success depended on providing value to searchers, not merchants. And SEO practitioners came up with new tricks.
We will look at search engine optimization in a series of articles, starting off with an overall look at on-line or Web marketing.
