4 Methods of Getting One Way Back Links to Your Website
As every SEO guide on the internet tells you the most important aspect to increasing your position in the search engines, particularly on Google is to gain more one way incoming links from other websites. But what they don’t tell you is how and where to actually get those links. Below I will tell you the top 4 methods that I have found for getting one way incoming links to my websites for free.
1 Your Suppliers and Customers
Ask your suppliers and your customers to put links to your website on theirs. Customers may need a “sweetener” to incentivise them to add your link, but discounts and special offers can be a negligible cost when compared to paying for printed advertising. Your suppliers will often be happy to put your details on their site for free, if you offer them permission to use your name and testimonials in their advertising.
2 Online Blogs.
Search the internet for commercial and personal blogs, when you comment on their posts most will allow you to enter the name and the URL of your website. If your comment is approved they will give you a free one way link for your trouble. Just remember not to spam their sites and only add useful comments, otherwise they will just ignore you and possibly ban you from any future submissions.
3 Article submission
Article submission is a fairly straight forward method of gaining lots of links. First you need to create a number of articles on interesting and useful subjects in areas that are related to your website. You then submit these articles to online submission services like EzineArticles. Once you have submitted your article the hope is people will take you article and put it on their websites, thus providing lots of back links to your site.
4 Online Directories
Search on the internet for “link directories”, 99% of them are rubbish and no one would ever use them to actually find your site. But who cares, you only need them to give you a link. When you are submitting your link ignore any sites that will only give you a link if you link back or want you to pay. Note: because the search engines class the quality of these links as poor you will need to get multiple links to get the same effect as a link from a supplier’s website.
You have permission to use this article freely in any publication as long as the resource box, by line, and copy write are included as-is and any web links are made ‘live’ when published on websites.
